AGES THREE THROUGH SIX
Acting classes for preschool/kindergarten are held on Saturdays
from 9:30-10:00am
Tuition: $110 per 10-week semester
Acting Classes are offered 3 semesters per year, on Saturdays.
Fall 2022: Saturday, September 17th - Saturday, November
19th, 2022
Winter 2023: Saturday, January 14th - Saturday, March 18th,
2023
Spring 2023: Saturday, April 15th - Saturday, June 17th 2022

limited to ensure each student receives

setting. All students participate in a
performance at the end of each semester.

We teach various methods - Stanislavski (Method
Acting), Meisner, Uta Hagen, Strasberg, and more!
How qualified are your acting
instructors?
Our acting instructors all hold degrees
in acting and/or a closely related field.
Our instructors are accomplished stage
actors, film actors, and directors. Our
instructors bring over 50 years of
combined professional performance
and teaching experience to your
classes.
What will I learn from acting classes
at Strand?
Students will learn basic acting skills for beginners.
The emphasis will be on stage direction, elements
of story, stage presence, and movement. Students
will build confidence and develop the ability to
speak and present in large and small groups. The
class culminates in a short play performed in
person or online for family and friends.
Concepts Covered:
- Drama Games - Storytelling - Improv -
Expression - Team-Work - Listening and
Responding - Reading Skills - Self-Confidence
