String/Wind Ensemble Classes
All Ages
String Ensemble classes are held on Tuesdays from 7:00-
8:00pm.
Tuition - $210 per 9 week semester + performance | Tuition is
discounted to $110 for current Strand Studios private lesson students
Classes are offered 3 semesters per year, on Tuesdays.
Summer 2024: Visit Summer Camp page
Fall 2024: Tuesday, September 24th - Saturday, November 19th,
2024, Performance on Sunday, 12/1 (no class 11/26)
Winter 2025: Tuesday, January 14th - Tuesday, March 11th,
2025, Performance on Tuesday, 3/18
Spring 2025: Tuesday, April 8th - Saturday, June 10th, 2025,
Performance on Tuesday, 6/17 (no class on 4/22)
Prerequisites: Students must be at least ¾ of the way through
Book 1, with at least 6 months of playing experience

Our instructors are accomplished
recording artists, gigging musicians,
and teachers. Our instructors bring
over 50 years of combined
professional performance and teaching
experience to your classes.

Emphasizing the fundamentals of
ensemble playing, the Strand String
Ensemble is an ideal first orchestra
experience for all ages. Rehearsals will
focus on the mastery of the string
orchestra techniques - listening,
following, leadership, rhythm, and
blend of sound.
